Acrylic Foundations Pro Lab — Hands-On Class + Kit (Tampa Bay, FL)
Build flawless acrylic sets with speed and control—in one focused day. This technique-first lab covers prep, structure, application, finish work, and safe maintenance. You’ll work hands-on, complete a full set, and earn a Certificate of Completion (training certificate—not a state license; see FAQs).

Who It’s For
New and returning techs, acrylic-curious gel techs, and advanced DIYers ready for pro technique (model recommended; see below). No experience necessary! This 8 hour intensive acrylic bootcamp will have you creating acrylic sets that look great and last 3-4 weeks!
Shannon and Yessy are both licensed nail techs and educators and have over 30 years combined experience, plus salon ownership and successful business experience.
Class Day Schedule (10:00 AM – 6 PM)
- Check-in, sanitation setup, kit walkthrough
- Safety, product chemistry & ratios (EMA systems; MMA policy)
- Prep, tip sizing/forms demo (live)
- Guided practice: ratio drills & bead control
- Lunch & informal Q&A
- Structure: apex & architecture; file sequence
- Hands-on full set on your model (instructor walk-through)
- Finish & fast looks (French, ombré, encapsulation)

Model Policy
Models arrive at 2:00 PM with bare nails (no product), no sensitivities/contraindications. If you can’t bring a model, you may work on a practice hand (you provide), or your dominant hand.

Is this a license? No. You’ll receive a Certificate of Completion. In Florida, paid nail services require a Nail Specialist registration. Florida lists 180 school hours for nail specialists and does not require the Florida cosmetology exam for this registration. See the Florida DBPR for official details.
